Our new playground is taking shape.
Work started over the Easter holidays to create a new therapeutic play space by Carmel House.
Designed in collaboration with our Occupational Therapy team, the playground will include equipment that builds students’ strength and coordination, and supports sensory processing.
The new playground will be a space where students can play, learn, and grow – with outdoor play offering proven benefits in engagement, confidence-building, and overall wellbeing.
The new space is quickly taking shape, with climbing frames, a sensory tunnel and gazebo installed. Work is expected to be completed in the coming weeks so students will be able to enjoy using the playground in the summer months.
