Red Nose Day

Red Nose Day 2015 came to Victoria in a big way. We had a non-uniform day with staff and students doing something funny for money and changing our faces for funds. Our own radio station VIBE had a day long comic relief schedule starting with Harry Bassett’s Full English Breakfast Show. Harry kicked off VIBE’s all day joke day! Unfortunately due to inclement weather we had to cancel our sponsored car wash but our strictly style “dance off” more than made up for it. We had our very own Craig Revel Horwood in the shape of Sean Mogg, Gemma Milne took the roll of Darcy Bussell, Len Goodman was ably represented in the shape of Angus Collins and Matt Saunders was the embodiment of Bruno Tonioli replete with Italian culinary references. All the competing staff and students had a ball but it was Liz and Jacob who stole the show and won first prize.   All the merrymaking had a point though and our aim was to raise £150 which would buy a wheelchair for a disabled child in Zambia. At the time of going to press there is no total as yet but we are confident of hitting the target.
