School Christmas Party 2018

Wednesday was Christmas Party day at VEC with staff tucking into turkey rolls and our students attending a magical party. This year’s theme was Aladdin. After being entertained by Tim Woodwind, the students made their way to the sports hall which had been turned into a mystical eastern land for them to explore and have fun. While the film ‘Aladdin’ played the students enjoyed jewellery making, paper lantern making, colouring and crafts, glitter tattoos and face painting. Entertainer Jamie Jigsaw was on hand with his magical balloon animals and a queue quickly built up around the chocolate fountain! It was also an opportunity for us to collectively say ‘Thank You’ to Mr Brown who is leaving at the end of term. Everyone had an amazing time and the Christmas spirit is now very much in evidence around school.
