Singing and Dancing into Christmas

To start a busy run up to Christmas, we hosted two special events from the Arts today. This morning we were entertained by Poole’s fabulous Inspire Daytime Voices Community Choir, led by Jane McDouall. The students enjoyed their spirited renditions of festive favourites and a rousing version of Jingle Bells to get us into the festive spirit. This afternoon, we welcomed three dance artists from Pavilion Dance South West for a dance and demo. The talented dancers showcased three different dance styles, Latin, Hip-hop and Musical Theatre. They each performed a piece for the students before leading a ‘follow me’, so we were able to learn some of the moves. Part performance, part participation, it was a very entertaining afternoon all round.
