Success for VEC at the Lord Taverner’s County Boccia Championship

Last Friday four teams travelled from VEC to the QE school in Wimborne to compete in the Dorset School Games, Lord Taverner’s County Boccia Championship. This is a huge competition with thirty teams participating. All our teams produced some excellent attacking and defensive play and were victorious in a number of games. Overall the standard was excellent and we’re delighted to report that two teams won silver medals in their categories with one team winning gold. We are very proud of all the students who took part, not only for their skill but also for their sporting conduct on what was an action-packed day.
