Every year, St Aldhelm’s Church in Branksome organises a Christmas Tree Festival. Schools, organisations and individual families are invited to sponsor and decorate a Christmas tree creating a magical atmosphere within the Church. This year’s theme is ‘Telling Our Story.’ To reflect this, we have chosen to celebrate the history of Shaftesbury and of Victoria School and to give an insight into the school as it is today. Over the past few weeks, classes have been tasked to create their own tree decorations featuring key words which link to the modern school environment. Class Brownsea have had the honour of decorating this year, and have made an excellent job of it. If you would like to see our tree and the many more taking part this year, the festival is now open daily from 10am- 6pm.
