Harry Paye Day 2014

Victoria Students took part in this years Harry Paye Day. Blessed with lovely sunshine, huge crowds and pirates galore the event which is organised by the Pirates of Poole and supported by Poole Tourism was a huge success. Our students took part in the parade showing off the pirate ships they built over our recent arts week event. Staff from Victoria also ran a raffle. The day is held in honour of real life Poole Pirate Harry Paye who earned his notoriety after seizing 30,000 gallons of wine from French and Spanish ships during the 15th century.
