Sports Week Poole Park Sponsored Walk Day

Victoria Sports Week kicked off today and to get the ball rolling we held a sponsored walk in Poole Park. Each student was sponsored by family and friends and was challenged to complete a mile for Victoria which meant three laps around the cricket pitch. The students and staff did amazingly well with special commendations to Spencer Owens, Callie Dibblin and Ebony Robinson. The weather was fantastic throughout with warm sunshine but a nice breeze picked up in the afternoon to take the edge off. A distance of 120 miles was covered by the students and staff which is the equivalent of walking to Luton! Well done to all involved, students and staff alike. More sports week updates to follow.
