During their lifeskills lessons this term Class Alum have been learning about our local community. They have really enjoyed creating a shopping list and walking to the local Tesco to purchase ingredients. Before the lesson, they spoke about road safety and watched a safety video on how they should cross the road. They also checked the weather to see what they needed to wear. The students listened beautifully to the road safety instructions and with support were able to find their ingredients in the shop. The students will use their ingredients for an upcoming cooking lesson. Tracey, the cashier, was so patient with our students and she was given many thanks when the class left.
