Livability update – Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Last update: 19 March 2020
Today we have taken the decision to close Victoria Education Centre to all our students with effect from Monday 23 March 2020, until further notice. This is to safeguard all the children in our care and reduce their risk of exposure to Covid-19.
We are continuing to support all our families via telephone and email contact from our Teaching, Therapy and Nursing Teams. We hope to be able to extend this support to our wider community and continue to work closely and explore how we can help with Local Authorities and Voluntary Organisations. Please keep your eye on the website for any further updates. Thank you for your continued support. Have a question? contact us here
Update: 18 March 2020
We are currently considering the latest Government announcement made on Tuesday, 18 March. This is extremely uncharted territory for us, and we are following guidelines closely. Families and carers will be communicated to with an update as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued support.
Update: 16 March 2020
Livability have emergency plans in place to deal with and address the COVID-19 Delay phrase announced by the UK Government on 12 March 2020. We are complying with the guidelines that have been issued by the Government in the provision of all of our services. Should parents or carers want any information they should not hesitate to make contact through the channels they would normally use. If a confirmed case occurs in any of our service settings, parents and carers will be contacted directly.
