After receiving feedback from our students on assemblies, Sam and Sophie from classes Arne and Pergins have developed a new programme for our Post-16 formal classes. The first assembly featured Remembrance Day with the students highlighting what they knew about this important occasion. They also watched a video about Armistice Day. A ‘Thought for the Week’ has been reintroduced from previous years, with an inspirational quote or idea setting the tone for the week ahead. This week’s thought is ‘How can we show respect to others?’ Student ambassadors will also be chosen again this year and the students have been asked to consider applying. It has been a great start to the new format, thanks to Sam and Sophie.
