Step Into Sport Festival 2020

Yesterday we have had the privilege of hosting the very first ‘Step into Sport’ Sports Festival. The festival, which has inclusion at its heart, is the brainchild of Sarah Dunsford and Dan Moody from Dorset School Games and our Head of PE Simon Higgins. Victoria School, St Luke’s Primary and Portfield School took part in the event, which is the first of four planned. The students took part in a carousel of inclusive activities which included boccia golf, target games and slalom. Supervision of the activities was organised by Brooke Amos with the Bournemouth University Relay students. The afternoon was a great success and we say a huge thank you to all involved.
