On August Bank Holiday we were delighted to host this year’s Poole Flower Show. The event took place over two days and included prizes in different classes, a produce sale and many stalls including a tombola, book stall, raffle and jewelry sale. All proceeds raised on the day have been kindly donated to our school by event organisers David and Pam Basil, who dropped by today. Class Purbeck student Robbie took part in the show, entering some potatoes he had grown in the ‘Something I have Grown’ category, winning a ‘highly commended’ certificate. Robbie was on hand today to accept a fantastic £811.88 from David and Pam. We are extremely grateful to David and Pam for this kind donation, which will directly benefit our students. Special thanks also to Tina Davis who contributed her time to promote the event and raise money on the day.
