Wessex Warriors PFC
If you haven’t heard of them already the Wessex Warriors PFC are the first Powerchair Football Club to be set up in the Dorset area. Their training sessions are held here at Victoria Education Centre every first Saturday of the month and we encourage anyone with any form of physical disability to come here to check it out. A perfect opportunity would be the up coming Development Team Launch and Powerchair Football Festival taking place here on the 6th March. This will give the opportunity for new players to come in and start with a basic intro into powerchair football.
The sessions will be delivered by trained coaches and the academy will have a solid progression route through to the team playing in the South West Regional Powerchair League. The Mayor of Poole is also attending to help them launch the new team. All are welcome, for full details please see the poster below.
For those that are a little more familiar with Powerchair Football, the Wheelchair Football Association will be holding a “Coaching Powerchair Football Course” here on Saturday 5Th March. Again, please see the poster below for full information but places are limited so if you would like to attend please book ASAP.
