BSO Resound Performance

Yesterday afternoon, our staff and students enjoyed a fantastic performance by Resound, a disabled led ensemble of musicians from the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Developed as part of BSO Participate’s Change Makers project, BSO Resound is a professional ensemble made up of disabled musicians led by James Rose, who conducts the orchestra using a specially made head baton that clips to his glasses. Our students were treated to several classical pieces including Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata and Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro, followed by a question and answer session with the musicians. We are extremely grateful to the whole ensemble for a fantastic, cultural afternoon.
