Lords Taverners Table Cricket Championships 2020

There’s been some high drama in today’s Lords Taverners Table Cricket Championships, with the result going right down to the last wire! Victoria played a blinder in the three heat games, beating Beaucroft ‘A’, Allenbourne and Beaucroft ‘B’. Victoria then met a strong Winchelsea team in a thrilling final which ended on a 264 to 264 draw! The game was decided on wickets lost so Victoria just missed out on progressing but achieved a well deserved silver medal place. They played so well and showed great sportsmanship to the other teams. A particular shout out goes to Alisher Messer – top scorer of the day with twelve 6’s! Well done and congratulations to Winchelsea School.
